A little something I scribbled down about... 20 mins ago I guess.

Have you ever felt
Alone in a crowd
Have you ever thought
That it’s all without sound

Everytime your mouth opens
And you try to speak
It all gets silenced
It’s enough to make a guy freak

All you want to do
Is tell her how you feel
Tell her what you her to know
Tell her how she makes you real

But something blocks you
Something stupid or useless
Like wanting to curl up in a ball
Don’t you hate being nervous?

You just want the dream to end
Wake up back in my bed
Safe from all this hurt
And with a clear head

The dream just gets worse
The mistakes just keep growing
Like a shadow on the soul
You give up hoping

Hoping on a world
That never was and never will be
The light that once blinded
Finally fails me
